The Barton Court Estate

An historic private estate for retreats, meetings and events.

How the Estate Works for You

Set on the western slopes of the Malvern Hills, where the Three Counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire meet, The Barton Court Estate is made up of a collection of renovated ancillary buildings clustered around an historic manor house.

Undiscovered for over a century, it has been renovated and refurbished in recent days and is now available to host residential retreats, strategy days, workshops and private events.

The setting is sublime: offering a rare mixture of seclusion, peace and beauty while being easily accessible by road and rail. The sympathetic renovation of the property has retained all of its character while seamlessly incorporating the modern amenities and facilities that support professional requirements.

Privacy

All residential retreats have exclusive use of the estate for the whole of their stay so there is no fear of interruption or distraction from any other guests on site. The support staff remain discreet and unobtrusive at all times.

There are no shared bookings.

Structure

We discuss your requirements and timetable well in advance so that everything is prepared and in place for your arrival. This means that rooms, catering and timings are organised and arranged by us so that organisers can concentrate on the work at hand rather than the logistics.

Environment

There is no question that environment impacts performance. Space, light and peace enhance attention so that people work differently when removed from their normal surroundings. Translated to a location such as this, creativity and innovation are inspired to flow freely.

The Barton Court Estate sits tranquilly behind high walls and hedges, in a contained location with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The setting is, in itself, a positive factor in any gathering. Coupled with the stylish, comfortable accommodation and the versatile flexibility of the spaces, it is an inspirational place to focus.

The Estate

The estate combines architectural style and grandeur with a practical infrastructure. The Dutch Barn provides generous space for group meetings, the Saw Mill offers breakout flexibility and the Manor serves as the centre for dining and informal discussion.

Residential accommodation for up to 40 guests is available across the Manor and adjoining estate properties. A detailed accommodation schedule is available on request.

Significant investment has been made in environmental sustainability, including biomass heating, solar generation and borehole water systems.
