The barns are flexible, atmospheric spaces designed for gathering — from creative workshops and supper clubs to masterclasses and one-off events. On the Barton Court Estate, they benefit from the peace and beauty of the location, the atmosphere and the sensational views.
The Saw Mill is a combination of brick, old beams and glass. It suits a variety of uses from exercise classes to a proms. It connects to The Dutch Barn, a wonderful spacious, white painted building that has hosted art galleries and plays. The two even stapces are supported by our catering kitchen and our soon-to-be-fitted bar.
Outside is large sunny terrace with a stretch tent. BBQs and summer parties have been held here. On the adjacent Dovecote Lawn we have had charity fairs and ice baths. There is no limit - except your imagination - to the uses that these stunning buildings can be put to.
On a practical level, the barns have underfloor heating to keep you toasty warm in winter and superfast Wifi so that internet access is trouble free. We may be in deep countryside but we well connected. Parking is plentiful and free and we have recently installed 2 EV chargers so that there is no range anxiety for our guests.
We created these spaces for people to gather and come together - and we love seeing them used imaginatively.
